My Favorite Umbrella, July 24, 2010 CC - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Photogenic 32" Eclipse Umbrella with Silver Interior & Black Cover. (EC32S) (Electronics) This review is for all Eclipse umbrellas not just the silver model. I have used Eclipse umbrellas for years and they have always been my favorite umbrella. I like the 32" size for event photography weddings etc.with battery type flashes and the 45" when space permits the use of studio lights. I prefer the white satin fabric to the silver for a less specular look. I like the way the ribs are covered with fabric so that you don't see them. I only use them to bounce the light into and use a different type when I want a translucent shoot-thru umbrella so I don't have to remove the black cover. They are well made and durable.
